Police give update on threat made against Mishawaka High School
MISHAWAKA, Ind.—Mishawaka Police on Wednesday gave an update on the recent threat made against Mishawaka High School earlier in the week.
On December 20, police were notified by the school’s administration of a threat they received via email.
Police said the threat was serious enough to close the high school to in-person learning.
Mishawaka High School has been on e-Learning since Monday. All other School City of Mishawaka schools are open for in-person learning.
Police said the investigation is still active and they did not release any additional details on the threat.
Detectives are talking to witnesses and working with administrators.
The school district said Tuesday evening that search warrants are a part of the investigation at this stage.
