Look forward to more pleasant weather for this Tuesday, perfect for South Bend Cubs opening day! Temperatures in the low to mid 50's this morning warm near 70 this afternoon with partly cloudy skies. It could be a bit breezy but max wind gusts shouldn't be over 20 mph. Skies remain partly cloudy overnight with cooler temperatures to wake up to tomorrow morning. Our Wednesday starts in the low 40's, but 70's return for the afternoon. The quiet weather comes to an end by Wednesday night when rain moves in, Thursday stays rainy and breezy essentially all day long. Showers should wrap up early in the day Friday with gusty winds lasting through the day and cooler temperatures - highs stay in the mid 50's. The forecast turns quiet again by the weekend with warmer temperatures returning.
