Pier Park getting a new mural

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A ribbon cutting will take place at Pier Park to unveil the new mural by Alex Ann Allen. 

The vibrant kaleidoscope of Allen's colors continues the beautification efforts along the St. Joseph River Walk, among the GIIVEN art installation in the tunnel.

The ribbon cutting will take place August 15 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. with South Bend Venues Parks & Arts Interim Executive Director Jordan Gathers, Mayor James Mueller and muralist Alex Ann Allen speaking.
