Penn Township vehicle involved in crash at Capital, Lincolnway

Jason Thompson ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Crews responded to a crash involving a Penn Township vehicle at the intersection of North Capital Avenue and Lincolnway East Tuesday afternoon, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
A call came in for the crash at 4:26 p.m.
According to reports, a Penn Township battalion chief was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after the vehicle rolled onto its side.
The chief was allegedly responding to a crash near the intersection of McKinley Highway and Bittersweet Road when the crash happened.
