Penn High School football player tests positive for COVID-19

A player on the Penn High School varsity football team has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter sent home to parents.

While at the school, the student was only in close contact with his training partner. The training partner is now in quarantine.

Parents were notified on Thursday of the student's test result. They allowed athletes to opt out of practices the rest of the week with no penalty.
