Over a dozen local high school football teams battle for Sectional, Division titles Friday night

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- High school football season has already come and gone for most Michiana teams, but a select few are still fighting for their respective state titles in Michigan and Indiana. 

On Nov. 8, over a dozen local teams will play in championship games which are called sectional titles in Indiana and district titles in Michigan. The winners of this round of contests will advance to the Regional Championships where only eight teams remain.

Indiana 

  • LaVille at North Judson
  • Triton at North Miami
  • Bremen at Andrean
  • Mishawaka Marian at Knox
  • Hanover Central at New Prairie
  • Mishawaka at NorthWood
  • Warsaw at Concord
  • Crown Point at Penn 

Michigan 

  • Zeeland West at St. Joseph
  • Edwardsburg at Niles
  • Berrien Springs at Kalamazoo Hackett
  • Constantine at Olivet 

All games start at 7 p.m. Winners of the sectional and division titles will be just two more wins from the state title game and three wins away from being crowned state champions
