Two injured in overnight shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Police Department is investigating after two people were shot early in the morning on Sunday, June 14.

A call came in around 2:55 a.m. of a shooting in the 51000 block of Emmons Road near Auten Road in South Bend.

Officers on scene said one person shot, but their wounds are non-fatal. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, officers were alerted of another gun-shot victim who walked into Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, detectives are on scene as the investigation continues.
