One woman shot at Extended Stay America in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A woman is in the hospital after a Thursday morning shooting. It happened at Extended Stay America hotel on Douglas and Main Street.
Police were called to the scene just after 4:30 a.m. by a person inside the hotel. It's not clear if they know the victim.
One suspect is now in custody, who police say had multiple warrants out for their arrest.
The woman who was shot is expected to recover.
