One person dead after fatal crash in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A single car crash happened near the intersection of California Road and Yaw Street early Sunday morning.

Investigators say that 24 year old Eduardo Mendoza was driving east bound on Yaw Street when he lost control of the vehicle.

He drove off of the roadway, causing his vehicle to overturn multiple times and ejecting him.

Eduardo was pronounced dead on the scene of the incident.

The investigation remains open as police try to identify the cause of the crash.
