One man dead in Wanatah after a car hits two motorcycles
ABC 57 LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- La Porte County deputies responded to the intersection of US Highway 421 and School Road in Wanatah for a personal vehicle crash involving two motorcycles and a passenger vehicle on Saturday July 11 before 4 p.m. During the initial investigation, officers revealed that a 2005 Mazda driven by 19-year-old Daniel Quiroz rear ended a 2021 Harley Davidson driven by 42-year-old Ryan Harrison. The impact ejected Harrison and his 41-year-old passenger Amber Harrison. Quiroz's vehicle continued north striking another 42-year-old motorcyclist Levi Bridges and his 41-year-old passenger Amber Bridges. Ryan and Amber Harrison were airlifted from the scene to South Bend Memorial Hospital, while Levi and Amber Bridges were transported to Franciscan Hospital. Ryan Harrison passed away on Sunday July 12 from the injuries sustained from the crash. This is an ongoing investigation, with toxicology tests pending.
