MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- At approximately 2:52 p.m. Friday afternoon (Dec. 6), Marshall County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the 6700 block of Michigan Road. 

Preliminary investigation shows that a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 36-year-old Wayne Upchurch Jr. was traveling north when he crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 42-year-old Plymouth woman traveling south.

The collision forced both vehicles off the road and one driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
