One dead in St. Joseph County after a person jumped from moving vehicle Monday

ABC 57 ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department is reporting that the southbound lanes of Capitol Avenue, between Day Road and McKinley Highway, are closed as of 5 p.m.
"SJCPD is investigating a traffic related death," authorities said. "An individual attempted to exit a moving vehicle."
The investigation is still ongoing, and this article will be updated as more information becomes available.
