ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- At 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, St. Joseph County Sheriff's deputies responded to an accident on U.S. 131 near Flowerfield Road in Park Township.

A 35-year-old man from Three Rivers was riding a black motorcycle when he lost control traveling south on U.S. 131. The motorcycle collided with the rear of another vehicle.

Speed is believed to be a factor of the crash. 

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle had no injuries.

The crash reminds under investigation.
