ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather ForecastWednesday, August 9th , 2023
Michiana is still feeling muggy through the waning hours of the day as rain approaches from the southwest. While most of the heavier rain is anticipated to fall south of US-30, South Bend and other cities in the northern portion of Michiana may experience showers or even an isolated thunderstorm. Temperatures cool down to the low 60s tonight as rain chances diminish by Thursday morning. Mostly sunny skies replace the rain Thursday as temperatures barely make it into the 80s, although the clearing is short lived as overcast conditions and low 60s return Thursday night. Friday starts off quietly in the low to mid 80s with partly cloudy conditions but ends loudly as our next best chance for storms arrives Friday evening into the overnight hours. Saturday offers another break from the rain with temperatures in the low 80s and partly cloudy skies.
Tonight: Rain with an isolated thunderstorm or two. Low 64.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 80.
Friday: PM storms. High 83.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 81.
