BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Just before 11 p.m., Tuesday, officers with the Benton Township Police Department were dispatched to 105 South Fair Ave. for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of shots fired, but no one was hit by the gun fire. Video surveillance helped detectives track the suspect to a nearby apartment.

The suspect was taken into custody around noon, Wednesday, on numerous firearm charges. Suspect's name is being withheld pending arraignment, and he is currently being lodged at the Berrien County Jail.

 The investigation remains ongoing.
