NWS investigating Friday night's severe weather in South Bend

ABC 57

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana completed a survey of damage in St. Joseph County, Indiana on Sunday.

The two main areas of focus were in the town of Lydick and north of the South Bend Regional Airport, in the area of German Township.

The NWS is currently investigating if a tornado touched down during Friday night's storm between Lydick and St. Patrick's County Park.

Despite the survey, some additional information and research is needed for these areas.

The NWS hopes to have more information Monday or Tuesday.

If you have any damage information between Lydick and the Michigan State line, please share your pictures and location to [email protected].
