Notre Dame to resume in person classes on September 2

Notre Dame President Rev. John I. Jenkins C.S.C. announced Friday undergraduate students will resume in person classes on September 2. Classes had been moved online after an increase in COVID-19 cases on campus.

Administration officials will provide information about the gradual return to classes as well as the reopening of campus spaces.

The university is asking all students to wear masks, maintain physical distance, wash their hands, complete daily health checks and limit social gatherings to ten people.

“If we adopt these practices, we can have a safe and successful semester on campus," Jenkins said.
