Notre Dame to host National Intercollegiate U.S. Figure Skating Final

SOUTH BEND, Ind --The public is invited to attend the National Intercollegiate U.S. Figure Skating Final this weekend at the Compton Family Ice Arena at Notre Dame. 

This event will feature 46 events with almost 300 skaters competing all weekend long. High-level skaters will be featured in the Junior and Senior Championships including a few current and past Olympians. 

The opening ceremony is set to start this Friday April 11 at noon with skating events going until 9 p.m.

Saturday April 12 will feature skating events from 8 a.m. until 8:25 p.m.

The final's weekend will wrap up on Sunday with the last skating events taking place from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. ending with a closing ceremony starting at 2:15 p.m.

Over 15 big-name universities will be competing including University of Michigan, UCLA, Dartmouth College, and Western Michigan University among many others.
