Notre Dame quarterback Tyler Buchner transferring to Alabama

Notre Dame quarterback Tyler Buchner will transfer to Alabama.
Earlier this week Buchner announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
He visited Alabama this week and made his intention to transfer known today.
Notre Dame brought in transfer quarterback Sam Hartman from Wake Forest this year and it was looking like Hartman would win the starting quarterback position over Buchner.
Former Notre Dame coach and player Tommy Rees is the offensive coordinator at Alabama.
Buchner released this message on his twitter account.
