SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse team is getting ready to enter round one of the NCAA playoffs this weekend.
The Fighting Irish will welcome the Jacksonville University Dolphins on Sunday at noon inside the Arlotta Family Lacrosse Stadium. The Irish are entering the contest 10 - 2 for the season and are the number two overall seed in the tournament.
They are powered by a strong offense led by senior Josh Yago and sophomore Luke Miller both with 24 goals each. In net, Thomas Ricciardelli has been strong, stopping over 56 percent of shots.
The Irish won back-to-back NCAA championships in 2023, and 2024, will they be able to do it again?
The game starts Sunday at noon, if you cannot make it in person, it will be available for streaming on ESPNU.
