ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame's Immigration Clinic is accepting new cases.
Notre Dame's Law School Immigration Clinic provides pro bono representation in various immigration matters.
The clinic, led by Ashley Sanchez, allows for Notre Dame law students-while under the supervision of a licensed attorney-to provide legal counseling and representation to individuals before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts.
The Clinic can assist with several immigration matters including:
- Removal Defense
- Bond Hearings
- Asylum
- Citizenship
- Family Reunification
- Adjustment of Status ("Green Card" applications)
- DACA
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- Work Permits
- Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
The Immigration Clinic is primarily serving those living in the greater South Bend area but is also able to provide representation to individuals in the Chicago and Indianapolis Immigration Courts. Cases outside of those courts will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
