SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In the world of Notre Dame sports, The Notre Dame Fighting Irish saw some major losses for the remainder of their season.
After a dominant performance, they beat Syracuse Orange 70 to seven on Saturday.
The University of Notre Dame announced linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu- Asu is out for the season after suffering an injury to his left knee.
Kyngstonn, one of the key defensive players, has nine solo tackles, 29 assists, one and half sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception.
The Fighting Irish are set to take on Stanford next week, hoping to secure their spots on the playoffs.
