Niles gears up for the grand opening of the NODE

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The City of Niles is excited to welcome the community to its new outdoor gathering space in downtown.

According to Uncover Niles "The NODE is the new outdoor gathering space in downtown Niles, built on a former section of 2nd Street. First appearing during the COVID-19 pandemic as a safe space for outdoor gathering, the NODE became a celebrated part of the community, leading to the permanent construction."

Starting April 26, The NODE grand opening will be a day full of events, games and surprises happening throughout the day kicking off at 10 a.m.

Those attending can also expect to hear live music from bands Marc Sucks, Shreddy Tendergrass, and Hey Annie.

The headlining band Abbie Thomas and the Crazy Hearts will wrap up the celebration with their set starting at 8 p.m.
