PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- New Song Church partnered with Martin's Super Market on Saturday to collect donations for the local Plymouth community.
Church members greeted shoppers at the store entrance, handing out flyers that listed needed food items and household products. Shoppers were encouraged to pick up extra items during their regular grocery trips and donate them as they left the store.
Volunteers loaded donations into a U-Haul truck parked outside Martin's. By the end of the day, the truck was filled with canned goods, toilet paper, diapers, bottled water, soups, cereals, and more essential supplies.
