CULVER, Ind. -- A brand new housing development called Sand Hill Farm opened in Culver on Thursday.
The complex has a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments.
It’s all geared toward improving housing opportunities in Michiana.
Developers said they hope the complex will attract new families to the area and help grow the population and increase school enrollment.
"This should have a huge impact of bringing a place where people that work in Culver can come back and live in Culver,” Kevin Berger developer and President of Easterday Construction said.
It was made possible in part by a $270,000 Regional Cities Initiative Grant.
