Nearly 21,000 pounds of food salvaged from 2021 Notre Dame football games

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Cultivate Food Rescue is a local organization that was able to collect and donate almost 21,000 pounds of leftover food from Notre Dame football games.

This initiative allowed the organization to donate nearly 1,700 free meals to over 100 Michiana charities.

Over the past four years, this partnership has gathered and donated over 200,000 pounds of food, which otherwise would have been thrown away, to families in need.
