GREENSBORO, N.C—The Notre Dame women’s basketball team won two straight games during the ACC tournament in North Carolina as of Saturday afternoon.
The Irish beat UNC Friday during the tournament 95 to 77 and followed that with another win against Syracuse, 91 to 66 Saturday.
During the Syracuse game, Marina Mabrey reached made her 263rd three-pointer, surpassing Alicia Ratay as most three-pointers of all time at Notre Dame.
“I was just really happy that other than the first couple of minutes of the game, we really locked in and focused, and just played our game,” said Marina Mabrey, Notre Dame all-time three-point leader
“When the transition game gets going, everybody gets a little excited and the shots come easier. Our inside out rotation’s been really good. I think the way we’re playing together is what’s been really good,” said Head Coach Muffet McGraw.
