National Weather Service confirms EF1 tornado touched down in Plymouth
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The US National Weather Service Northern Indiana has now confirmed that an EF1 tornado hit near Plymouth in Marshall County Thursday night.

A brief tornado spun up south of 8A on King Rd, uprooting or snapping multiple trees and causing damage to a barn. The tornado continued northeast, flipping a center pivot before entering a grove of trees causing several snapped trees. The circulation moved quickly northeast, knocking down a few more trees north of 8A Rd. The tornado quickly lifted on the north side of 8A Rd after doing significant damage to a barn.
Additional damage has been found across the county but appears to be caused by straight-line winds. An area on the east side of Argos is still under consideration by the National Weather Service for a weak tornado with a determination to come later.
