SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage continued through Michiana Saturday morning, stopping by Saint Matthew's Cathedral in South Bend.
Volunteers helped to build and tend to the newly created Miami Village Unity Garden.
The local chapter of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend hopes this garden will fill a need in the surrounding community and bring neighbors together.
The pilgrimage continues through Wednesday in Michiana before they head to Indianapolis next week for the tenth National Eucharistic Congress.
