Motorcyclist killed in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.--. At approximately 10:11 a.m. on Sunday, Marshall County Central Dispatch received reports of the collision involving a motorcycle and a minivan.

Emergency responders arrived to find 30-year-old Seth Kuckuck, of Fort Wayne, severely injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kuckuck was riding a 2019 Kawasaki ZR9 motorcycle when the accident occurred.

The second vehicle involved was a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van, driven by 71-year-old Linda Clevenger of Plymouth, who was uninjured in the crash.

Authorities' preliminary investigation revealed that Kuckuck's motorcycle was traveling east on U.S. 30 when Clevenger, who had stopped at a stop sign, failed to yield before proceeding north across the highway.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
