Motorcyclist killed in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.--. At approximately 10:11 a.m. on Oct.27, Marshall County Central Dispatch received reports of the collision involving a motorcycle and a minivan.

Emergency responders arrived to find Seth Kuckuck, 30, of Fort Wayne, severely injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kuckuck was riding a 2019 Kawasaki ZR9 motorcycle when the accident occurred.

The second vehicle involved was a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van, driven by 58-year-old Linda Clevenger of Plymouth, who was uninjured in the crash.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Kuckuck's motorcycle was traveling east on US 30 when Clevenger, who had stopped at a stop sign, failed to yield before proceeding north across the highway.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident, with assistance from the Marshall County Coroner's Office, the Bourbon Police Department, the Plymouth Fire Department and EMS, and Reichert-Knepp Towing Services.

Further details about the crash and any potential charges are still under review.
