MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- An upset customer pulled a gun on a Mishawaka McDonald's employee working the drive-thru window Monday morning over a dispute about a food order.
The call came in around 11:03 a.m. Monday morning from the 3520 Bremen Highway restaurant. When officers arrived, it was determined that no shots were fired, but that a black male passenger in the vehicle pulled a firearm and pointed it at two employees in the McDonalds.
"The suspect and vehicle then left the scene prior to police arrival. This case is still under investigation," MPD said. "If anyone has any information, please contact the Mishawaka Police Department Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684. Or they can call Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP (7867)."
