Mishawaka house fire contained
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Crews have put out a house fire on the 300 block of Miami Club Drive.
Officials said the first started around midnight.
The homeowner and family were inside but were able to exit safely, with their dogs.
The home had significant damage, according to Mishawaka Fire Department.
When the fire department arrived, there was significant smoke from the fire.
Crews were able to contain the fire within 15 minutes.
Officials said it started in the back corner of the house and caused significant damage, but not a complete loss.
The family will be displaced until repairs can be done.
