Michigan State Police investigating fatal crash on I-94

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in the westbound lanes of I-94 Friday morning.
Troopers responded to the crash on I-94 near 6th Street in Texas Township around 9:30 a.m.
A man was driving in the left westbound lane when he changed lanes and sideswiped a vehicle in the right lane.
The male driver was pronounced deceased.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle his car struck were transported to the hospital.
Police closed the right westbound lane for 5 hours during the investigation and cleanup.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
