Michigan State Police investigating crash involving stolen vehicle

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich.—Troopers are investigating a crash involving a stolen vehicle, Michigan State Police said Sunday.

Police said a silver 2003 Saturn four-door passenger car was taken just after 1 a.m. on January 21 from a residence on Johnson Road.

The vehicle was involved in a crash at US 131 and Lovers Lane in Lockport Township, police said.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle left the scene of the crash.

Police do not know if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
