LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan State Police are increasing traffic enforcement starting Monday, July 13.
The enforcement is aimed towards unsafe driving behaviors by commercial and passenger vehicles. The increasing of traffic enforcement coincides with operation safe driver week.
According to the Governor’s Highway Safety Association, many jurisdictions are seeing a severe spike in speeding.
They will also focus enforcement on distracted and aggressive driving.
