Michigan has 1,147,512 COVID-19 cases, 22,384 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 9,764 new cases* of COVID-19, and 137 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Tuesday & Wednesday). The average number of new cases is 4,882 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 75 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,147,512 COVID-19 cases, 22,384 deaths,1,002,693 recovered, and 10,208,597 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 17,519 confirmed cases, 310 deaths, 146,047 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,305 cases, 86 deaths, 34,871 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  7,672 cases, 112 deaths, 46,646 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 8,909 cases, 152 deaths, 75,095 vaccine doses administered
