INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The energy has been building in downtown Indianapolis as Michigan fans gather into the city ahead of Monday's NCAA National Championship game.

Since 1 p.m. on Monday, students and alumni lined up outside waiting hours to secure their spot in the student section.

A moment in the making for Wolverine fans, as Michigan looks to capture its first national title since 1989.

Crows packed the streets, restaurants, and fan events across the city, with the NCAA Fan Fest at the Indiana Convention Center drawing hundreds eager to take part in games, photo ops, and pre-game festivities.

Michigan enters the title game after a dominant tournament run, winning five games by an average margin more than 21 points.

The team's resurgence under coach Dusty May has fueled excitement, marking a dramatic turnaround after a finishing eight and 24 just two seasons ago.

This marks Michigan's seventh appearance in a National Championship in 2024, but they've won just once in their previous six tries.
