LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind - - Michigan City High School celebrated its first ever Esports college commitment this week. 

Staff, students and family gathered at Michigan City High School on Monday to watch as Katelyn Ast officially committed to Manchester University's Esports team. 

This is the high school's first-ever Esports commitment.

Michigan City High School spokesperson posted on Facebook saying "MCHS history has been made! Katelyn Ast is OFFICIALLY committed to Manchester University as our school's first-ever Esports commitment.
