Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is warning the residents of Benton Harbor and surrounding areas to be on the look out for price gouging in products, particularly of bottled water.

As City of Benton Harbor residents are advised to use bottled water out of caution due to lead contamination concerns, the Attorney General is worried local retailers will raise the prices of bottled water unreasonably.

If you think a retailer is charging a price “grossly in excess” of what others are charging for similar goods or services, please contact the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division at 877-765-8388.
