"Meg 2: The Trench" chomps into theaters this weekend

"Meg 2: The Trench" chomps into theaters this weekend, and is the sequel to the 2018 film, "The Meg".

Jason Statham returns as Jonas Taylor along with Shuya Sophia Cai as Meiying from the first movie.

This sequel also features Jing Wu, Cliff Curtis, Sienna Guillory, Skyler Samuels, Melissanthi Mahut, Page Kennedy and Whoopie Van Ram.

Written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Dean Georgaris and directed by Ben Wheatley, this story sees a research team encounter multiple threats and a malevolent mining operation, while exploring the oceans depths.

Keep in mind that this movie is rated PG-13 for action/violence, some bloody images, language and brief suggestive material.
