SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center is hosting the third annual Black History Skate Night on Sunday, Feb.15, from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Howard Park.

This event will celebrate Black History and culture through music, skating, community, and a Black History Market.

“We’re excited to celebrate Black History Month with the community in a truly unique way,” said Phillip Williams, Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center Program Coordinator. “This year's event brings more energy, more entertainment, and fun for everyone whether you’re hitting the ice or staying cozy indoors.”

Attendees can enjoy skate sessions, a live DJ featuring The Dream Detroit Skating Club and Academy, food trucks, and a curated market featuring 20 local Black-owned businesses and vendors.
