Man charged with drug possession and OWI after traffic stop

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A man was arrested on charges of drug possession and operating a vehicle while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the evening Saturday, July 11.

Brandon Boston is charged with Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated Endangering, Possession of Marijuana, Operating a Vehicle with Controlled Substances in Body, and Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug.

Around 9:21 p.m. Saturday, July 11, a Marshall County Officer began a traffic stop for an alleged moving violation at the intersection of US31 and 16th Road.

During the investigation, the officer allegedly discovered the driver, Boston, had marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.

Boston's bond has been set at $1,500.
