Man arrested for Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon in Pulaski County Friday

PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. -- A Winamac man is behind bars Friday after he was arrested and charged with Level 5 Felony Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says Ralph E. Cotner was taken into custody on April 11 in connection with an incident that occurred at 6336 West 400 South, Winamac, involving alleged intimidation with a deadly weapon.
"The incident stemmed from a dispute over tire tracks left in a soft right of way, approximately 3–5 feet into an unplanted field owned by the victim," the PCSO said.
"Following the discovery of the tire marks, Cotner reportedly confronted and threatened individuals who were not involved in the initial property damage. During the confrontation, Cotner is alleged to have brandished a firearm and made threats of bodily harm."
The PCSO responded to the scene and a brief investigation prompted a search warrant to recover the firearm.
"Cotner voluntarily turned himself in on April 11, 2025, and was later released on bond without incident," the PCSO said.
"The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office reminds the public that all criminal activity is taken seriously. Incidents involving threats and weapons will be thoroughly investigated, and charges will be pursued when appropriate."
