FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A man faces multiple charges for alleged sexual acts with an underage girl over the course of several months.

Nineteen-year-old Michael Daulton is charged with Child Molesting, a Level 4 Felony, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 6 Felony, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, a Misdemeanor.

According to court documents, the victim met Daulton through a friend and began 'hanging out' around July of 2025. The victim told investigators that she snuck out of her house on many occasions to visit Daulton's home. Starting in September, Daulton allegedly began to touch her sexually every time she would come to his house, and Daulton knew she was underage.

Police were told about one specific incident, where the victim was at Daulton's home with one of her friends and Daulton's friend, who had bought them all alcohol.

The victim told police at one point she and Daulton became "friends with benefits." Investigators also spoke to someone close with the victim, who said she walked in on Daulton and the victim having sex.

After reports were taken, investigators arrived at Daulton's residence to speak with him about the allegations. Daulton agreed to come to the police department where he was interviewed.

Daulton said the victim had been coming to his house almost every night and sometimes they would go for drives in his car. Daulton allegedly admitted to police that he had sex with the victim on multiple occasions, however they were no longer in a relationship. Daulton was later arrested and charged after probable cause was found.
