Major roadway in Niles closed after crash

Emergency crews responded to a crash in Niles Wednesday around 2:00 p.m.

According to police, two vehicles collided in the 1200 block of South 11th Street.

Authorities say multiple people were injured. At this time, the severity of the injuries is unknown to us. 

The road was closed in that area while police investigated. The road reopened around 3:20 p.m.

Niles Police, Michigan State Police, and the Niles Fire Department all assisted at the scene.
