Magic of Lights holiday light festival begins November 19
The Magic of Lights holiday light festival will be in La Porte County for the first time this holiday season. It is a drive through lights festival featuring nearly one million twinkling lights.
The light festival will be held at the La Porte County Fairgrounds from November 19 through January 2, from 5 - 10 p.m.
Through the mile and a half route, there will be scenes such as 12 Days of Christmas, Tropical Holidays, Santa's Mountain and Jolly Holiday Village where guests can visit with Santa.
"La Porte County looks forward to having such a festive celebration at the Fairgrounds, which will bring excitement to residents and visitors of all ages alike this holiday season," said Randy Novak, La Porte County Council President.
Save money by purchasing tickets in advance online. Tickets are available for purchase at the gate as well.
Ticket prices vary by date purchased and type of vehicle.

- $20 - if purchased online between November 3 and December 9
- $25 - if purchased online December 10 through January 2
- $30 - if purchased at the gate on a weekday November 19 through December 9
- $35- if purchased at the gate on a weekend November 19 through December 9
- $35 - if purchased at the gate on a weekday December 10 through January 2
- $40 - if purchased at the gate on a weekend December 10 through January 2
