Linden Avenue Farmer\'s Market

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend’s Engagement and Economic Empowerment team is looking for a variety of vendors and others to participate in this year’s Linden Avenue Farmer’s Market.

"The Linden Avenue Farmer’s Market is a seasonal nutrition and health-based outreach partnership between local and regional farmers, food vendors, health and wellbeing organizations, and food outreach coordinators committed to addressing the far-reaching implications of food insecurity," a city spokesperson said.

The markets will be held on the second Saturday of every month starting in May and running through September at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center (1522 Linden Ave).

The market, which is in its fifth year, has always been at the MLK Jr. Dream Center but last year, it was held at the Charles Black Center because of the renovations to the Dream center.

Interested vendors can fill out an application online.
