LaGrange traffic stop leads to meth, weed arrest

LAGRANGE - A LaGrange man is facing several charges after police pulled him over Wednesday evening. According to the LaGrange Marshal's Office, Earle Snover was pulled over on State Road 9 near County Road 200 North for a traffic violation, which eventually led to the discovery of crystal meth and marijuana.

Police say the officer who conducted the traffic stop smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside. After searching the car, the officer found 14 grams of meth, around 8.5 grams of suspected marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.

A search warrant was obtained for Snover's home. Investigators allegedly found 19 live marijuana plants growing outside.

Snover was taken to the LaGrange County Jail on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
