LA PAZ, Ind. -- La Paz is reminding residents and visitors that it remains a vibrant community with its third annual “Party at the Park” on Saturday.
The event, formerly known under a different name, features a full day of activities including local vendors, food, crafts, desserts, kids’ games, inflatable bouncy houses and a morning parade.
A live band is scheduled to perform from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., followed by fireworks to close out the night.
Organizers say the celebration is meant to highlight the community’s spirit despite the changes brought on by the highway bypass and other infrastructure projects.
“Party at the Park” has grown each year, and organizers say they plan to continue expanding the festival in the future.
