SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- La Casa De Amistad launched CAMINO, a giving society for legal professionals and justice advocates who contribute to immigration legal services at La Casa De Amistad.
La Casa De Amistad offers a wide range of programs tailored to empower and uplift underserved communities. These include English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, GED preparation, U.S. citizenship classes, legal assistance for immigrants, youth mentorship programs, college readiness support, leadership development, and emergency resource navigation. Camino in Spanish means path or journey, adding to La Casa De Amistad's mission.
The leadership and generosity of Mark McKenna, Carolyn Woo, and David Bartkus, La Casa was able to raise over $50,000 to help fund their legal clinic.
